Nestled in the middle of the village of Askrigg, The Middle House offers guests 12 comfortable bedrooms. 

With a mix of twin, double of king rooms available, the hotel is the perfect base to explore the dales. 

Our bedrooms are located on both the first and second floor. (Please note we DO NOT have a lift). 

PARKING

We have a car park to the rear of the hotel. Parking is on a first come, first served basis. There are other parking options in the village including a car park at the top of the village.

CHECK IN

Monday - Thursday: Our reception and bar open at 4 pm. Check in is from 4pm only.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Our bar opens at 12 noon. Check in is from 3pm.

CHECK OUT 

We require guests to vacate their rooms by 11am.

DOGS

We have a limited number of pet friendly rooms available at the hotel. If you have made a reservation and intend to bring a dog you MUST contact the hotel in advance via email (info@middlehouseaskrigg.co.uk) to advise us of this. We will check availability of these rooms and allocate your reservation accordingly.

We cannot guarantee availability of dog friendly rooms, so please ensure you have checked in advance of booking.

A pet charge of £25 will be applied to your booking.

Dogs are welcome in the bar, front room and garden. Breakfast will be served in the bar if you are staying with a dog.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served between 8:30 am and 9:30 am daily. 

(Gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options are available)

DINNER

Dinner reservations are essential. Should you wish to book a table, please email us on info@middlehouseaskrigg.co.uk . If reservations are not made, we cannot guarantee a table in the restaurant. We also serve food in our bar.

Dinner is served between 5:30pm and 8pm.

(**UPDATE: DINNER IS NOW ALSO SERVED ON A TUESDAY FOR THE SUMMER SEASON - June - September).

Dogs are welcome in the bar and front room - reservations cannot be made for the bar, but we will book tables for residents with dogs in our front room.

TAXI

Should you require a taxi during your stay we recommend you book this well in advance. Taxi availability is limited.
